How to Use Get Planty!

Scientific research has shown that the right language helps your customers choose plant-based foods. Therefore, we have developed a scientific method to help you select the best words to increase the appeal of your plant-based dishes. To use this website, first find your dish, or a dish that is close to the dish you want to describe. Then look at the words shown, and select five to seven words that you feel fit your dish best. 

You will see that some of the words describe the sensory aspects of eating a dish, such as “creamy” or “crunchy”. Other words describe the context in which one might eat the dish, for example “Friday night” or “picnic”. Another category of words describe the hedonic aspects of the eating experience, such as “delicious” or “satisfying”. We recommend that you choose at least one word from each of these categories to describe your dish. If you then view your selected words and enter your email address, we will even send your chosen words to you. Once you have selected five to seven words, you can then use these words to compose a delicious dish description!
